But it's enough and it's somethin I can smell taste and touch
Plus it's right there every morning when I wake up
n stays with me all day n remains when my eyes a shut

You can't remain teenaged in ya brain for the rest of your days

Seen many a dead end within this epic hedge maze

Who knows best and who just follows the rest?
If all men are born with a compass pumpin in their chest
How come alot of us are all strung out n stressed
Every decision that I made had a consequence
And sometimes i played it safe by sittin on the fence
Other times you got no choice but to act
And a lot of times you cant take it back
But Whatever the case I gotta take it as comes
Got me this far and so far I've had a good run
Ups n downs yeah we all know about that
So Lets keep it simple I remained intact overall
Could say ive had luck of the Irish
But It doesn't add up with all the bad stuff that I did
I was a good kid

It started when I was a young fella
Developed incrementally and Eventually popped up like an umbrella
To shelter me from the storm keeps me warm
Security within the purity of purely keepin on
Don't needa be strong or stand my ground
The foundations sound and I'm homeward bound
Neither lost nor found and I'm proud of my perspective
A simple sentiment and it regulates my regiment
Truth self evident bathing in my element
Tryin out a few new things just for or the hell of it
My best i can better it if I just put the effort in
It's progress whether evolution or development
I may be out of touch but I am in tune
Try to life without a crutch to cling to
Bullshit abound n I can just see through
Surround me with an aura that wards off evil
